You can follow our simple guide in the Quick Start section of the website. The process of transferring code is called Flashing. Once the micro:bit has been flashed, the code will run automatically.
Here are instructions for different browsers on Windows and Mac computers. Choose the one you’re using:
- If you're using the device in a school environment, you may need to check with your network administrator that you have the correct permissions to write to the device.
- You can only transfer one hex file at a time onto your BBC micro:bit.
You can also transfer code via Bluetooth.
