The following graphs detail power consumption of the micro:bit device and are taken from the attached report, written by Matthew Frost at Lancaster University.
The graphs show the consumption under the micro:bit runtime (C++), MicroPython and Makecode (PXT/Javascript Blocks)
Each test is run for 5 minutes with readings taken at 30 second intervals from which a (mean) average is calculated. The graphs should be read within the context of tasks detailed in the report
The outcome of each task undertaken is shown in milliwatts (mW).
Also attached is a table, that takes data from the report and details battery life (hours) for each task when powered by two AAA batteries.
